ITSPHUN®: Interlocking Triangles, Squares, Pentagons, and Hexagons Using Notches

Picture

A system of geometric shapes (made by us from plastic, wood, paper, foam, etc.) that can be combined in endless ways to make wonderful and colorful creations at the intersection of art and mathematics.

Geometry

Picture
In classroom or at home, ITSPHUN®  is a great tool for developing the ability to recognize and manipulate 3D patterns and for learning the basic concepts of solid geometry.
With enough ITSPHUN® shapes, you can build models of the Platonic,
Archimedean, and Johnson solids, right prisms and antiprisms, many nonconvex objects such as stellated polyhedra as well as several space-filling tessellations.
A few of these objects are shown in our
photo gallery.

Creativity

Picture
Simpler objects can be connected resulting in an infinite number of complex combinations.
ITSPHUN
® shapes can be used to make not only abstract, mathematical structures, but also birds, animals, flowers, trees, houses, hats, glasses, jewelry, lamps, and much more - see a few examples in the photo gallery.
